I made a time lapse video of a drawing/painting of Fools Crow who is a famous Native American chief. In the left half portion of the painting sits a hawk- because why not. The main reason I chose to paint this is because Fools Crow witnessed alcohol addiction ravage his community physically and spiritually. He even said in an interview the introduction of alcohol to his people was the worst thing that had ever happen to his community despite the fact that they were at one point striped away from their land/homes to live in reservations. Besides this little back story I personally thought it would be a cool project to do because I usually struggle with portraits. :0
