This piece is called “Metamorphosis.” It is a typographical self-portrait of all the people, places, things and experiences, songs, quotes, etc. that have shaped my life. It was created for a work event/competition. My ex-husband ripped it up the day it was due for submission so I quickly re-printed it and mounted it to the dowels. This piece was the catalyst that led me to leave him and walk through some really tough stuff the following year.
